With the X5 M, BMW has a very hot iron in the fire of the Power-SUV class. Forcibly ventilated by two Twin-Scroll Turbochargers, the X5 M of the current F85-series is factory-presettet with a 4,4 liter V8-engine with 575 hp which pushes 750 Nm onto the crankshaft . Of course, the BMW specialists from Manhart Performance, located in Wuppertal, discovered even in such a large-caliber bullet further untapped development potential, which they sounded throughout the transformation from the X5 M into the Manhart MHX5 700.
And as usual with Manhart, the name MHX5 700 is program: After installing own downpipes (catless, no TÜV) and stainless steel sport mufflers with valve control and 100-millimeter twin tailpipes as well as an adjustment of the engine software, the datasheet shows full 700 hp at 6500 RPM and a brute torque of 900 Nm at 5700 revs. Equipped by the combination with a lifting of electronic Vmax governor, the MHX5 700 presses his beefy nose with up to 315 km/h into the airstream. The MHX5 700 Power Package is available at the price of 7.500,- Euro plus mounting. Optional, there is also a "small" Power Stage with 640 hp available.
Visually, the project car MHX5 700 shown here, attracts attention with a sporty and noble custom-built foil coverage in Grey Matte (3500,- Euro incl. VAT). This finish blends perfectly to the 10.5x22 and 11,5x22 inches BBS SV rims, which were soled by Manhart Perfomance with Vredestein Ultrac Vorti SUV high performance tires dimensioning 295/30ZR22 front and 335/25ZR22 rear. (Complete set: 4.284,- Euro incl. TPMS.)
Lowering springs from H&R (1188,81 Euro) lower the center of gravity of this power SUV by 35 millimeters and optimize its cornering performance significantly, without losing the offered comfort.
In the cockpit an additional AWRON display informs (from 799,- Euro plus installation) the driver about all important operating parameters and driving dynamics values of his MHX5 700.
