2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i
2012 BMW Z4 sDrive28i. The car is not an entirely new model, it received BMW’s brand new 2.0 liter twin-scroll turbocharged petrol engine with a nice power of 245PS (180 kW) and a train-pulling 350Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque. This new engine replaces the well-known 3.0 liter six-cylinder petrol in 25i and 30i.
2012 Z4 sDrive28i accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and still returns a nice 41.5 mpg on combined cycle with emissions below 160 g/km. This is possible thanks to a number of modern technology – Double-VANOS variable camshaft timing and VALVETRONIC variable valve opening. 2012 BMW F10 528i and Z4 Price – $47 575 and $49 525
2012 BMW F10 528i is powered by a new TwinPower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The new “28i” replaces the 3.0 liter version. It features a high-pressure direct-injection, VALVETRONIC and a single twin-scroll turbocharger. 2012 528i delivers 240PS (177 kW) at 5000RPM and the torque at 1250RPM is just brutal – 351Nm (260 lb-ft).
The 2012 528i is priced at $47 575. This is $2 505 more than the previous 2011 F10.
2012 BMW Z4 has a price tag of $49 525, which is $2 075 more than the 2011 model.
However, the new models offer better engine with lower fuel consumption and nice power coming from low RPM. The difference in the price is not so much and you’ll enjoy the new 2.0 liter TwinPower turbocharged four-cylinder power unit. (more…)
2011 BMW Z4 GT3 – racing toy
2011 BMW Z4 GT3 is designed specially for private racing teams. This is the new version of the racing car and includes aerodynamic modifications, advanced engine management system, a steel safety cell, and a variety of CFRP components.
The aerodynamics package includes front and rear wings, bonnet, roof, fenders and many other components are made of carbon fibre reinforced plastics (CFRP).
The new Z4 GT3 is powered by a new 4.4 liter V8 mated to a a 6-speed sequential gearbox. The power is in excess of 480HP (353 kW).
The goal of the latest modifications was primarily to improve aerodynamic efficiency in order to grant the car’s competitiveness in the many, hard-fought GT3 classes.

ACS 99d BMW Z4
AC Schnitzer also reworked the Z4-Series. The name of the project is 99d inspired by the 320d Efficient Dynamics edition. The 2.0 liter diesel delivers 190HP (140 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 235 km/h.
The fuel-economy is just impressive 3.8 liters/100 km and CO2 emissions are 99 g/km. AC Schnitzer makes those numbers by means of a 230 kg reduction in weight.
G-POWER Z4 E85 SK Plus
A 300 km/h top speed, 0-100 km/h in just 4,9 seconds, 375 hp and an engine’s peak torque of 420 Nm: These are the characteristics of the latest G-POWER development for the BMW Z4 3.0i.
In addition to the increase in power output of 144 hp for the 6- cylinder engine, that normally produces 231 hp, the G-POWER offers a complete tuning program for the Bavarian roadster consisting of: Aerodynamic body kit, light-alloy wheels, suspension modifications, high-performance brake system and exclusive interior components. BMW Z4 Mille Miglia
The limited edition of Z4 – Mille Miglia is based on sDrive 35iS, which is improved by adding a black painted grille, an aerodynamic kit developed by M division and a set of 19″ chrome alloy wheels with smoky effect.
The engine is 3 liter 6-cylinder with a twinscroll turbine delivering 335hp. The power is transmitted to the road through seven speed dual-clutch gearbox. Z4 Mille Miglia accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and the top speed is 250 km/h (limited). (more…)

BMW Z4 sDrive35is
BMW has announced today that the Z4 sDrive35i is to be offered with an extra ‘s’. This range-topper sharpens the roadster’s sporting pedigree by offering an even higher level of performance and adds to its sleek, sporty looks with some extra styling touches.
Premiering at the Detroit Motor Show in January and on sale in the UK in March 2010, the new BMW Z4 sDrive35is gains an extra 34hp over the standard car, taking output to 340hp. The 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine with its twin turbocharger technology and High Precision Direct Injection increases maximum torque to 450Nm with an extra 50Nm of torque available in the upper gears for extra power when overtaking. AC Schnitzer e92 335d is the world fastest diesel car
AC Schnitzer ACS3 3.5d Coupe is the world fastest road-legal diesel car. Built by the renowned BMW tuner from Aachen – AC Schnitzer, the ACS3 3.5d Coupe broke the world record from 2006 by reaching the astonishing 288.7 km/h at the legendary high-speed circuit in Nardo, southern Italy.
This is the third world record set by AC Schnitzer at Nardo. After the records from 2006 with the TENSION as the fastest road-legal BMW and the GP3.10 GAS POWERED from 2007 for gas-powered vehicles, the ACS3 3.5d Coupe has continued the success story.
