A wide-body kit gives the new X5 an even more dominant appearance. The aerodynamic package is made of PU RIM and is distinguished by very high quality and perfect fitting accuracy. Available for immediate delivery, the wide-body kit consists of a front spoiler extension with integrated spoiler lip, front and rear wheel-arch extensions and the RS rear skirt extension. bmw x5 edrive concept tt BMW X5 eDrive ConceptBMW will introduce a new version of X5 eDrive Concept at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The super-efficient SAV comes with impressively low fuel consumption and will actually go in production as an xDrive40e model.

BMW X5 eDrive Concept was unveiled in September, last year at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Its more refined version will be showed in New York this month. The specs remain the same – a four-cylinder 2.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine with 245 HP (180 kW) and 540Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque working together with an electric motor that generates 95 HP (70 kW). The combined power is 272HP (200 kW) and the fuel consumption is just 3.8 liters / 100 km – 61.9 mpg US or 74.3 mpg UK. (more…)

d2forged bmw x5 tt D2Forged BMW X5 E70D2Forged has unveiled their tuning package for BMW X5 E70. The SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) comes with some nice styling upgrades.

Outside, the X5 E70 features a set of new bumpers from AC Schnitzer. There are also D2ForgedMB1 Monoblock wheels in dimensions of 9.5J x 22” at the front and 11J x 22” at the rear fitted with ultra-low profile tires. An impressive highlight here is their titanium graphite finish and the featured brushed lip stripe.

Now, a 2014 BMW X5 F15 is available on the market. It has received a lot of new engines including sDrive25d and xDrive25d with a TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder diesel engine (the first one is RWD, while the second AWD). The power unit produces 218HP (160 kW). There are also xDrive35i with a 3.0 liter six-cylinder petrol and 306HP (225 kW) and the xDrive40d with a six-cylinder diesel engine rated at 313HP (230 kW). AC Schnitzer BMW X5 F15 tt AC Schnitzer BMW X5 F15AC Schnitzer has revealed their latest project based on the all-new 2014 BMW X5 F15. The SAV gets both styling and performance upgrades.

Outside, it comes with a new front skirt and a new rear apron covered with protective film. There are also different alloy wheels in sizes from 20” to 22” fitted with low-profile performance tires. Other highlights include different tailpipes and a sports suspension lowering kit bringing the ride closer to the ground with 30mm at the front and 20mm at the rear.

Inside, there is a set of new bespoke floor mats, an aluminum pedal set and a custom key holder. (more…)

The third generation of X5 will also benefit from the nice upgrades offered by the manufacturer. Currently, BMW is offering /// M Performance Parts for a wide variety of models and now it is turn to the new X5 to join them.

The exterior comes with carbon fiber mirror caps, front splitter, rear diffuser and rear aero flaps. A rear spoiler, high-gloss black kidney grilles and M Performance rocker panel decals are also available.  Double-spoke 21” wheels with performance tires complete the aggressive look.

The exterior boasts redesigned front bumper with a lip spoiler, widened side skirts and modified rear bumper with a diffuser attached. There are also extended wheel arches and huge air vents. Last, but not least is the new front hood with air ducts. (more…)

In November 2013 another three variants will be added to the line-up of engines for the most recent addition to the BMW model family, the BMW 4 Series Coupe. The BMW 435d Coupe will enter the fray as the most powerful variant of the new two-door model. Its 230 kW/313 hp six-cylinder in-line diesel engine teams up as standard with the intelligent all-wheel-drive system BMW xDrive, which will now also be available as an option for the BMW 420i Coupe and BMW 420d Coupe. BMW is using the 2013 Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA) to present the logical next step towards landmark efficiency in the SAV segment. The BMW Concept X5 eDrive combines the brand of driving pleasure for which the xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system is renowned and a luxurious ambience within the variable-use interior with a plug-in hybrid drive concept. Its innovative BMW eDrive technology guarantees the hallmark sporting ability of a BMW, while at the same time opening the door to speeds of up to 120 km/h (75 mph), a maximum range of 30 kilometres (19 miles) on electric power alone and average fuel consumption in the EU test cycle of 3.8 litres per 100 kilometres (74.3 mpg imp).
