BMW is using a technology and innovation workshop to present an initial selection of development highlights which the next generation of the BMW 7 Series model range will use to set new benchmarks in lightweight design, driving dynamics, comfort, intelligent connectivity and operation. The extensive use of carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) in the structure of the passenger cell, the rigorous and detailed application of lightweight design and a new generation of engines combine to reduce the weight of the luxury sedan along with its fuel consumption and emissions figures. The comfort, safety and driving experience offered by the new BMW 7 Series benefit from new chassis technology, exceptional scope for interaction with the car’s infotainment technology and a wider selection of driver assistance systems from BMW ConnectedDrive. The wheel rim specialists from Oxigin Leichtmetallräder in Swabian Unterensingen prove that their current wheel rim design “18 Concave” looks particularly handsome on the large BMW models with the two XL Bavarians presented here.
The white 5 series Touring from the F11 series has been equipped with the Oxigin 18 in the popular finish black full polish with undercut. It’s very practical: there is a TÜV expert report for the sizes used, 9×20 and 10.5×20 inch, in combination with tyres sized 245/35ZR20 and 285/30ZR20, for the current generation of the BMW 5 series F10/11. This permits easy registration in the vehicle documents. The significantly concave shape of the Oxigin 18 Concave is very well visible in the white station wagon. BMW has presented 2014 7–Series Edition Exclusive coming with a number for styling upgrades bringing even more personality to the luxurious saloon. The new limited edition car comes just after the introduction of 7-Series Horse Edition made specially for China.
Edition Exclusive will be available for the BMW 7 Series Sedan and the BMW 7 Series Sedan with long wheelbase. It will be introduced to the markets this summer. (more…)
BMW is going to offer a 7-Series F02 Horse Special Edition for China, which is expected to be exhibited at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show starting on April 20th. The German manufacturer has already presented the exclusive M5 and M6 Gran Coupe Horse Edition, now it is turn to the luxurious flag-ship.
2014 BMW 7-Series F02 Horse Edition is specially developed to celebrate the year of the horse. It is based on the 740Li xDrive (long wheel base and all-wheel drive) and can be finished in some the exclusive color schemes: a metallic Black Sapphire, Moonstone, Citrine Black paint or with this pictured Ruby Black hue. BMW will offer the 740Ld xDrive in the US with pricing starting from $83,425 (including $925 destination and handling tax). The long-wheelbase model will join the others Advanced Diesel models in the US.
2015 BMW 7-Series 740Ld xDrive is powered by a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder diesel – 258HP (190 kW) and 560Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque. Vilner has unveiled their latest project based on BMW E38 750 V12. The top-of-range 7-series received a lot of styling modifications mainly for the interior.
The exterior boasts DRLs incorporated in the halogens, a new rear wing mounted on the boot and 19” Z-Performance Wheels.
The interior boasts full leather and Alcantara upholstery almost on all parts including the rearview mirror. The dashboard has been dressed in grey leather as well as the mechanisms of the belts. There is a decorative stitching in white on the doors and the seats. (more…)

BMW has already celebrated their 25th anniversary of its first ever 12-cylinder powered 7-series production vehicles. The engine first debuted in 1987 and that gave the Bayerische Motoren Werke company the idea of launching a special 25 Years Anniversary Edition. If you are interested, this model can be ordered in the BMW Center and will be delivered next year with a price tag ranging from about $ 160,000. (more…)
Today, BMW announced updates to the second generation of the successful BMW ALPINA B7 super-high performance luxury sedan with more performance, fresh design features, and improved efficiency. The new B7 is slated for a North American debut at the historic Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August and will go on-sale immediately thereafter. Pricing will be $128,495 (B7 Standard Wheelbase), $131,495 (B7 SWB with xDrive), $132,395 (B7 Long Wheelbase), and $135,395 (B7 LWB with xDrive) including $895 destination and handling. (more…)
BMW launched a very special limited edition 25th Anniversary Edition 760Li V-12 reflecting a rich tradition of V-12 engines that began back in 1987 with the then groundbreaking BMW 750iL when BMW engineers crafted the most Ultimate Driving Machine of its day with the introduction of its first automotive V-12 engine. Only 15 of these very limited edition models will be available to US customers on a special order basis only for BMW Center delivery in early 2013 at a price of $159,695 including destination and handling.
