AC Schnitzer presents a world first at the “Auto Car Show” in Zürich in November 2014. From 6 to 9.11.2014, the Aachen-based tuning experts present their own typically unique and outstandingly athletic version of the BMW X4.
Athletes are judged by their performance – and the BMW X4 by AC Schnitzer doesn’t disappoint in this area. The Aachen tuners let the BMW X4 20i (export version) loose on the road with 245 hp. The BMW X4 28i delivers a mighty 294 hp, and the BMW X4 35i will even impress world championship judges with its 360 hp. Equally impressive is the casual way in which the X4 by AC Schnitzer powers forward from any speed. (more…)

Many people think that BMW 6 series Gran Coupé was actually the nicest BMW, offered by the Munich car company. One of the fastest, the top model M6 is in any case, not only subjectively, but also corresponding to the manufacturer’s technical data sheet. Nevertheless, as it is often in life, there are customers who are simply not satisfied by 560 serial HP. Also in the car’s outer appearance they see some need for optimization. (more…)

The GTRS4 is a full lightweight carbon composite wide body conversion that is based on the 2015 BMW M4 Coupe. The design and development of the GTRS4 started early this year as there were countless hours of teasing and modeling that took place. (more…)
The new BMW X5 M and new BMW X6 M (fuel consumption combined for both models: 11.1 l/100 km (25.5 mpg imp); CO2 emissions combined for both models: 258 g/km) see BMW M GmbH setting the pace once again in the high-performance Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) and Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) segment. When the previous generation of the two cars arrived in 2009, it was the first time the high-performance character distilled by BMW M GmbH had been transplanted into an all-wheel-drive BMW X model. The result was class-leading dynamics. The new BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M pull no punches in writing the next chapter in this success story with another significant step forward in dynamic excellence, emotionally rich M design and outstanding efficiency. It seems like BMW is pretty committed to this whole X4 thing. Aside from the current xDrive28i and xDrive35i, we’ve captured a round of spy photos showing what our spy shooters tell us is a more dynamic M40i model.
The higher-performance hunchback follows in the footsteps of BMW’s other sub-M cars like the M235i. In fact, much like the high-po 2 Series, the M40i is expected to make use of a 3.0-liter, turbocharged six-cylinder, developing 365 to 375 horsepower. (more…)
