From March 2015, new entry-level engines, a further four-wheel drive model and additional equipment options will increase the diversity of features available for the BMW 2 Series Coupe. With the market launch of the new BMW 218i Coupe, a three-cylinder petrol engine from the BMW Group’s latest engine family will be featured for the first time in the brand’s sporty and elegant compact model. State-of-the-art BMW TwinPower Turbo technology featured on the new power unit provides a maximum power output of 100 kW/136 hp and exemplary efficiency (combined fuel consumption: 5.6 – 5.1 litres; combined CO2 emissions: 130 – 118 g/km). Furthermore, from 2015, the intelligent four-wheel drive system BMW xDrive will also be available for the BMW 220d Coupe. Another BMW M4 goes back to European Auto Source in order to receive some fresh M Performance Parts. The California-based shops is focusing quite a bit on tuning up the new M3s and M4s and so far the projects have been quite exciting.

The BMW i8 has been named as Top Gear magazine’s global Car of the Year 2014. The plug-in hybrid performance vehicle beat off some stiff competition from a host of other premium and luxury manufacturers to win the overall award.
The editorial team of Top Gear commended the BMW i8 for its breadth of abilities. Its 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine combined with an electric motor gives searing acceleration and driver enjoyment but all wrapped in a package that takes BMW’s EfficientDynamics philosophy to the extreme courtesy of CO2 emissions less than 49g/km and a 135mpg combined cycle figure. Kumho Tire Co. has announced that it is supplying its high performance tyres as original equipment for the BMW 3 Series range.
The ECSTA HM KH31 has been approved by the BMW Group for fitment to certain models in the 3 Series range and deliveries of this product in size 225/55R16 are now being made to BMW’s Munich and Regensburg factories. The ECSTA HM has been a key pattern in Kumho’s European line-up in recent years, and was highly recommended by the well-respected German motoring publication Auto Bild, when it tested the products of no less than 14 global tyre manufacturers. At the 2014 Art Basel in Miami Beach, BMW will present two of its legendary BMW Art Cars – the BMW 320 by Roy Lichtenstein (1977) and the BMW M3 by Michael Jagamara Nelson (1989). BMW is inviting visitors to view the BMW Art Car by Roy Lichtenstein in the Botanical Garden next to the fair and the BMW Art Car by Michael Jagamara Nelson will be on display in Art Basel`s Collectors Lounge in the Convention Center.

(VDAT), which celebrates its 10th birthday this year. The anniversary vehicle “Police BMW X4 20i TUNE IT!
