Since more than 10 years the Krumm-Performance company at Bruehl, south of Cologne, Germany, is occupied with the optimization of so called New-MINIs in all directions and established itself thanks to many years of experience in fields of motorsports and car tuning as respected partner in the MINI-scene. Besides the two main competences performance uprating and chassis engineering, the Rhinelanders became famous because of the systematic refitting of several R53 engines by means of tuning packets „Powered-by-Krumm“. Black tea, black humour, black cabs. Black belongs to Britain like fish & chips. So it goes without saying that the German manufacturer DEZENT sells its TM alloy wheel, designed for the latest Mini generations, in dark as well.
Ten blunt spokes, a slim centre – the geometry is reminiscent of the classic Mini Cooper designs. But the real kicker is the finish, which makes this alloy wheel as stylish as a bespoke suit made in Savile Row: The pitch black meets an attractive front polishing, which, next to the rim flange, also comprises the spokes’ central spine. This makes for five original “cake slices“. (more…)

It has driving fun in its genes – and it seems that the chromosomes are responsible for its stunning appearance, too. The new MINI is dazzling wherever it goes, but the special equipment feature Chrome Line Exterior Deluxe finally transforms it in a truly irresistible eye-catcher. For decades, chrome surfaces have been applied to the headlamp, rear light and radiator grille surrounds as well as other typical design elements: for the first time, this feature is now extended to the entire body. The effect is instantly compelling: with the Chrome Line Exterior Deluxe, the MINI holistically reflects the aesthetic awareness of the brand and its fans. (more…)
Bold athletic flair and supreme versatility define the character of the MINI Countryman. Its irrepressible forward thrust and flexibility are now expressed even more strikingly in an exclusive edition model. The MINI Countryman Park Lane sees its world premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show in March 2015. It will be available worldwide in up to four engine variants from July 2015. (more…)

The MINI ALL4 Racing has once again proven its excellent drivability and reliability under tough conditions: Nasser Al-Attiyah (QT) and his co-driver Mathieu Baumel (FR) have clinched yet another stage win at the 2015 Dakar Rally . The duo was quickest on leg four from Chilecito (AR) to Copiapo (CL), extending their lead in the overall classification to 8:15 minutes.
“It was good to win the stage and to finish the day without any punctures or any other problems,” Al-Attiyah said. “But it really wasn’t easy. We could push a bit after the dunes, as we didn’t want to take too many risks. The main thing was to take time from Giniel (de Villiers) as he is always there: in the top two or three on every stage. He will be the man to beat.” (more…)
