2015 BMW X4 – Officially Unveiled


 2015 BMW X4 tt 2015 BMW X4   Officially UnveiledBMW has officially unveiled the all-new 2015 X4. The crossover is based on the well-known X3 and adopts the sporty styling of the bigger X6.

The exterior boasts an aggressive front fascia with a prominent grille that is flanked by twin headlights and distinctive fog lights. The sloping roofline reminds a “classical sport coupe” with four-doors. Last, but not least are the L-shaped LED taillights and a faux rear diffuser. The X4 is 14mm longer and 36mm lower than the X3.

The interior boasts aluminum trim, metallic accents and gloss black control panel surrounds. There is a 40:20:40 split rear seat which folds down to expand the cargo capacity to 1,400 liters. (more…)

AC Schnitzer BMW X5 F15 tt AC Schnitzer BMW X5 F15AC Schnitzer has revealed their latest project based on the all-new 2014 BMW X5 F15. The SAV gets both styling and performance upgrades.

Outside, it comes with a new front skirt and a new rear apron covered with protective film. There are also different alloy wheels in sizes from 20” to 22” fitted with low-profile performance tires. Other highlights include different tailpipes and a sports suspension lowering kit bringing the ride closer to the ground with 30mm at the front and 20mm at the rear.

Inside, there is a set of new bespoke floor mats, an aluminum pedal set and a custom key holder. (more…)

The 1st BMW M4 Coupe is Ready


BMW M4 Coupe tt The 1st BMW M4 Coupe is ReadyThe 1st BMW M4 Coupe is already assembled in Munich, Germany. To celebrate the event, the car was driven off the line by DTM racing driver Martin Tomczyk and BMW Munich Plant Managing Director Hermann Bohrer.

As a reminder, the M4 Coupe is powered by a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo Inline six-cylinder – 431HP (317 kW) at 5,500RPM and 550Nm (406 lb-ft) at 1,850RPM. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) or an optional 280 km/h (174 mph). The acceleration is even better, when fitted with the optional 7-speed ///M DCT – 4.1 seconds to 100 km/h. The new M3 and M4 are able to cover 100 km with just 8.8 liters of fuel in the combined cycle with the manual transmission and 8.3 liter with the DCT. (more…)

BMW M4 Convertible spy photo t 2014 BMW M4 Convertible [spy photos]Here are several pictures of the upcoming BMW M4 Convertible, which is expected to make its official public debut at the Geneva Motor Show, next week. The car is production ready and wears minimum camouflage, so this is the final exterior look.

It will come with a foldable metal roof as well as a sculpted hood, bigger wheel arches and four exhaust tips. The engine will be the same as in M3 – a 3.0 liter six-cylinder TwinPower Turbo with 431 HP (317 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. It will be connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional 7-speed DCT (double-clutch transmission). 0-100 km/h in around 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) – electronically limited.

Outside, the B4 Bi-Turbo boasts a complete body kit including front and rear aprons, a sports exhaust system and a set of 20” alloy wheels. MB Individual BMW E91 335i Touring tt MB Individual BMW E91 335i Touring   400HPMB Individual Cars has unveiled their latest project based on BMW E91 335i Touring. The estate comes with styling and performance ugprades.

The 3.0 liter turbocharged gasoline engine is boosted to 400HP (294 kW) – an increase of 94HP. The result is thanks to a new piper cross air filter, sports middle muffler and tail-pipes as well as an ECU re-map.

Other upgrades include a matte blue metallic exterior wrap and tinted windows. There is also a bi-color wrap for the rear diffuser and partial wrap for the interior. The front of the car gets a new bumper from the 1-Series Coupe, a hood from the facelift model and ///M side sills as well as LED headlamps and Blackline taillights. (more…)

The coupe was tested on a racetrack in Barcelona by a DTM driver named Bruno Spengler, who made several laps in extremely wet conditions.

The 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine is boosted to 294HP (216 kW) and do 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and 80-180 km/h in just 12.7 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h (155 mph).

Otherwise, the exterior boasts front and rear bumpers extensions, new wheels, police lights and police decals for the sides, hood and mirrors. (more…)

The 116i Black boasts Essen TN-9 Black aluminum rims – 8.5J x 20” ET35 with 235/30ZR20 88Y tires. There are also red coated brake calipers, H&R lower suspension settings, foil wrapped BMW kidneys and interior ledges. The side and back windows are tinted black. The price is €22,999. (more…)

For some, this is the natural way of things happening and for others, it is a real disappointing news. This is the first FWD vehicle that BMW has ever produced. What is more, it comes with three-cylinder engines… just “impressive”!

We don’t know how to comment such vehicle. Yes, it is a typical BMW with nice interior, good engines and performance, but why they did it with FWD? Nobody knows!

Still, the 2-Series Active Tourer can’t be mistaken – kidney grille, twin circular headlights and the well-known Hofmeister kink. The dimensions are 4,342mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,555mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,670mm. The interior is also pretty much the same like in all new BMWs – driver-centric design, a lot of good-positioned buttons and switches.

There are three styling packages – Sport Line, Luxury Line and ///M Sport Package.

The engine range includes a 218i – a 1.5 liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol – 136HP (100 kW) and 220Nm (162 lb-ft). 0-100 km/h in 9.3 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). It will return 57.6 mpg UK – 4.9 l / 100 km with CO2 emissions of 115 g/km.

The 225i has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol – 231HP (170 kW) and 350Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 235 km/h (146 mph).

The diesel variant is only one – 218d – a 2.0 liter turbodiesel – 150HP (110 kW) and 330Nm (243 lb-ft). 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 205 km/h (127 mph).

BMW will also produce a super-efficient 216d as well as 220d and 220i. There will be xDrive versions of the 220d and 225i.

2014 BMW 2 Series Active Tourer tt 2014 BMW 2 Series Active Tourer [first official pic]The first official picture of the all-new 2014 BMW 2-Series Active Tourer has been published online. Actually, the image is awful, but still we have a slight idea, how the Active Tourer will look.

The interesting model, which is planned to have FWD (for first time in BMW’s history) was previewed back in September 2012 at the Paris Motor Show with the Concept Active Tourer.

The five-seat 2-Series Active Tourer model which will be joined later this year by a seven-seat version likely to be called 2-Series Gran Tourer.

The news doesn’t sound so good, because all BMW fans and owners will be a lot disappointed by these vehicles. (more…)

Currently the modified Bi-Kompressor system for the BMW M5/M6 E6X series – featuring the legendary high–rev V10 engine – enables the G-Power M5 Hurricane RR Touring to a new top speed of 362 km/h, making it in spite of the electronically limitation to the fastest station wagon in the world. Of course the G-Power Hurricane RR Touring sets new performance standards not just for top speed. 2015 BMW X3 tt 2015 BMW X3 FaceliftBMW has announced 2015 X3 Facelift. It boasts an upgraded exterior, interior and two new models. The 2015 BMW X3 is expected to hit the market in spring – US Price $39,325.

Outside, the 2015 X3 has a modified front grille and new headlights. There are also redesigned mirrors and new styles alloy wheels.

There are two additional packages  - xLine and M-Sport. The first one adds underbody guards, metallic trim accents and special 18” or 19” alloy wheels, while the M-Sport comes with a complete aerodynamics package, shadow line trim and 18” to 20” alloy wheels. There are also sport front seats, an anthracite roof liner and a sport-tuned suspension. (more…)
