The Emergency Stop Assistant is part from research project titled “SmartSenior – intelligent services for senior citizens” launched from The Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Germany. Safety in an emergency Older people with intermittent cardiovascular problems frequently no longer trust their abilities at the wheel. This doubt stems from the fear of suffering heart or circulation-related problems while driving which might cause them to lose control of their vehicle and trigger a serious accident. It leads to a loss of personal mobility and, by consequence, a considerable drop in independence and quality of life – especially for those living in rural areas. Prior Design BMW M6 The tuning company Prior Designed, already refined Porsche 997 Turbo, Jaguar XJR and some other sports cars. Now it’s BMW M6’s turn and the project is named – PD550. BMW M6 will get entirely new custom-made body kit consisting of front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, front fenders. PD550 is equipped with enormous multi-spoke 9Jx20" at the front and 10.5Jx20" at the rear forged wheels fitted with 255/35/ZR20 and 285/30/ZR20 tyres. There are also 21? rims with the same width and slightly bigger tyres – 255/30/ZR21 at the fron and 295/25/ZR21 at the rear. Beast on the road The original 6 Series was the successor to the E9 coupés, namely the 2800CS, 3.0CS and 3.0CSi. The new E24 chassis was safer than that of the E9, meeting new United States federal crash and rollover standards. The original 6-Series was first launched in August 1976. This car had a 3210 cc engine with 197 PS (145 kW). In 1980 debuted the 635CSi, with a 3453 cc SOHC, 218 PS (160 kW) engine and a top speed of 222 km/h (138 mph). The 635CSi could reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.4 seconds. A luxury version, known as the L6 arrived in 1987 with leather headliner and trim and other accoutrements. In 1983 BMW took the M88/3, a modified version of the M88/1 from the BMW M1 and put it in the E24 chassis, creating the M635CSi, or M6.
