BMW won three awards from 2010 Auto Bild Design Competition BMW won three awards in five categories at the 2010 Auto Bild Design Awards. The new BMW 5 Series Saloon, the BMW X1 and the concept car BMW  Vision EfficientDynamics took the first places in their categories. More than 20 magazines, among was the Auto Bild, which is the most famous European Car Magazine had called on a total of around 40 million readers to nominate the best designed cars of the year. The choice was between 103 new models as well as concept vehicles. Again BMW was the best marque with total of three victories  out of five vehicle categories. The first winner is the BMW 5 Series Salon, which was launched only a few weeks ago, but it managed to conquer the hearts of the fans.  The premium sedan boasts unique quality, driving spirit and technical equipment....

The three generations - E28, E34 and E39 were sold in more than 35 000 units. E28 M5 is powered by 3.5 liter straight-six engine with code S36B35. It develops 286 PS and catapults from 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds and the top speed is 246 km/h (153 mph) . The second generation is E34 M5, which has 3.6 liter straight-six with code S36B36, which delivers 315hp.
